Community Speedwatch
Join our Worton Community Speedwatch! Working with Wiltshire Police, we help make our lovely village roads safer, quieter, and friendlier for everyone. By giving just a little time, you’ll help deter speeders, protect local families, and keep our rural community a wonderful place to live.
Help improve road safety in our village by joining a small group of dedicated volunteers who play an active role alongside the Community Speed Enforcement Officers and Roads Policing Unit in tackling speeding along the High Street.
As a trained volunteer you will help to verify and record the registration number of vehicles recorded as breaking the speed limit. That information is then passed to the Police for further action.
